An interesting deviation from the typical GAR monument, the one that uses a solitary standing solider with a rifle. Instead, we have this small group of large cannonablls on a short square base.

It appears that the majority of the older lots in this cemetery, which is built on a series of hills,  use this unique terrace system to demarcate and preserve the many hillside grave lots.
