Block 15 consists of at least 11 veterans of the Civil War, which includes (possibly) one cenotaph (Hubbard).

Lot 3. Dr. Zenas Bliss began the war as assistant surgeon of the 3rd Michigan Infantry (along with his brother Dr. D. Willard Bliss). He was transferred to the regular army and at one time commanded Armory Square Hospital in Washington, DC.
Lot 5. Jacob Hoch (or Hock) of Company D 1st Michigan Engineers & Mechanics.
Lot 6. Colonel Thaddeus Foote commanded the 10th Michigan Cavalry.
Lot 7 William B. Martin regimental quartermaster 2nd Michigan Cavalry.
Lot 12. William Frederick Cornelius Van Beynum. Sources report him to be a veteran but he is not found (under Van Beynum) in the Michigan regimental index.
Lot 14. Morris Johnson Sgt of Company A 9th New York Heavy Artillery.
Lot 5. 2nd Lieutenant James Bigelow of the 3rd Michigan Infantry (reorganized).
Lot 17. Lieutenant D. C. Hubbard. Findagrave lists his name as Daniel Coman Hubbard; other sources report him as Captain Delville Hubbard of the 1st Michigan Infantry. But that Delville Hubbard died in 1884 and is burie din Oakridge Cemetery, Marshall, MI.
Lot 18. Colonel Perrin V. Fox of the 1st Michigan Engineers & Mechanics.
Lot 20. Daniel Bryan of Company F 13th Michigan Infantry.
Lot 28. Holmes Roys of Company D 10th Michigan Cavalry.
